Ilya, the owner, had the best prices on the island for tables and chairs (and believe me, we did our research). My wife and I always want to give our business to independent companies, and Ilya at Kona Event Rentals was the nicest and most accommodating person we came across. We couldn't recommend him enough. If you are in need of rentals for your wedding or event, I honestly think you don't need to look any further. We used Kona Event Rentals for our wedding (at Hale Wailele near Kona) and they were exceptional. The customer service is exceptional. The pricing is reasonable. The team is responsive, kind, and helpful. The rental items we used (farm tables, brown chairs, flatware, the wooden archway) were all fantastic. We also had them install string lights which they did a great job of and it really enhanced the whole experience. They were a dream to work with, and since I was not using a wedding planner (I planned it all myself) working with helpful vendors made a huge difference. We hired Kona Event Rentals for our farm table and chair rentals for our wedding in Holualoa in April 2019. Not only were they super helpful, very well organized and quick to respond when I contacted them to book the reservation, they were incredibly easy to deal with on the day of. They found the place no problem, showed up at the right time for drop off and pick up and were very friendly and professional. The farm tables and chairs we rented were so beautiful and in excellent condition. We also found their prices very competitive. Would highly, highly recommend Kona Event Rentals for weddings and other events.
We rented a home in Captain Cook on the beach for our daughter's wedding. We did everything ourselves, with some help from Kona Event Rentals. We rented gorgeous farm tables, chairs, and their wood wedding arch. Everything turned out perfect! Their rentals were all in beautiful shape, their delivery and pick up were perfectly on time, and my emails were answered quickly and completely. Do not hesitate to use them for your next function. I would use them again without question!
